Over $75,000 in scholarship money has given to students since 2012. One or two scholarships are often given to members of the Youth Service Club (pictured.)

Children are referred by school staff to go shopping with an FLPD officer for Christmas gifts for their family members. DFF provided groceries to each of the ten families so they could make a wonderful holiday meal.

In the spring of 2018, Community Education began a youth service club at Forest Lake Area High School. Participants learn leadership skills, perform community service and have the opportunity to achieve a varsity letter in volunteerism. DFF provides financial support so the opportunity can be free to participants.

Forest Lake Safety Camp brings FLPD, FLFD and other community organizations together to teach children safety lessons including bike and fire safety. DFF is an event sponsor.

Forest Lake Rotary Plunge helps community organizations raise money for their own causes while raising money to support the charitable work of the Forest Lake Rotary. DFF sponsors this community event.
