
Over $82,000 in scholarship money has been given to students since 2012. Students are eligible for up to four years of undergraduate education and are chosen based on their leadership and service to the community.
2025 recipients are Katie, Kathleen, Aly and Alexa.

Children are referred by school staff to go shopping with an FLPD officer for Christmas gifts for their family members. DFF provided groceries to each of the ten families so they could make a wonderful holiday meal.

In the spring of 2018, Community Education began a youth service club at Forest Lake Area High School. Participants learn leadership skills, perform community service and have the opportunity to achieve a varsity letter in volunteerism. DFF provides financial support so the opportunity can be free to participants.

Forest Lake area youth athletes and boosters work hard to raise money to support their teams. DFF purchases program ads and provides donations for fundraising efforts.

Forest Lake Rotary Plunge helps community organizations raise money for their own causes while raising money to support the charitable work of the Forest Lake Rotary. DFF sponsors this community event as well as the Forest Lake Turkey Trot.

The MSSC was started in fall of 2025 as a way for Forest Lake Area Middle School students to participate in community service, connect with each other, and make a difference in their world. DFF provides t-shirts and funding for service projects.
